Iceland
 

Am hoping to go to iceland in August to do a north to south (or vice versa) trip through the interior. I've got about eight days. Can anyone recommend a good route? Is this a reasonable time-scale?

Any other tips about riding in Iceland gratefully received.

we went through the interior from south to north by the route F26:

It took us 2 days but we had motorcycles. I don't know how much longer you will need on a pedal bike.
