But how is it for you overlanding in a big rig like that? I have seen many of this size, and I'm note sure if I can get used to them.

We used to travel in a Landcruiser, and now we have a 4x4 Campervan, which is a bit higher but overall it is still 5 meters like any other 4x4.

On one side I would like to go bigger (huge Sprinter 4x4 for example) but don't you ever get to miss out on stuff with such a big rig?
For example, I really like those mountain trails. Trails so small, climbing up the mountain, that even a Unimog would sometimes be too big. So having any wide and/or long vehicle would limit you somewhat.
But I guess, if you play around in desert area or open planes, the size is not so important.

No, we go trough bush and climb small "overgrown" paths as well. I don't care about scratches, its an overland vehicle not RR or Bently...

Our wheelbase is 360 cm Total lenght is 720, not overdone I think.
