Colour is one of those subjective aspects, a personal preference that will never satisfy everybody... With such a rig one can't be low profile anyhow, too big and impressive when you cross it on the road. The orange stripes are beneficial though for safety reasons, somehow cars respect you more and don't get that close in traffic...

That's a very good point I haven't thought about, let me check the "Travel Stories/Blog" option - thanks for the advice.

Probably one of the best shots from the front, taken in Süzbeyli, Turkey during our first season.

Someone asked about the weight of the rig... finally got a chance to put it on a scale, it's 1'450 kg on the front, 2'000 kg on the rear for a total of 3'450 kg.
This is fully loaded weight and fully filled with 120 l of water and 140 l of diesel.
Quite happy with the result :)
