For sale: 1997 Toyota 4Runner in Panama

Toyota 4Runner 1997 for sale in Panama in June 2014. I want to let you know so you can plan your trip more comfortably.

We bought this car in San Francisco bay area in December 2013 with ca 160 thousand miles on the clock. We got a title on our name and the registration markers will expire in January 2015. It has California plates.

We are a couple from Poland with a baby Ignacio travelling towards Panama, which we want to reach by the end of June and need to sell the car instantly.

The car is in perfect running condition and we cannot see any obstacle to drive the car till the end of Argentina and back to Alaska. We want to sell it for best offer, our target is USD 5500.

We prepared for you special first minute promo: if you are interested in the car, please inform me and send me quick email to michal.mochon@gmail.com and I will deduct USD 500 from the final price if I see your email by the end of March. Of course, your email is only intention to meet and discusss the case in Panama when we get there and you see and test the car, and not the obligation for any party to sell/ buy.

The car was made in 1997 and currently has ca. 167 thousand miles on the clock - we are in Yucatan, Mexico.

We are travelling with a child so we carry a lot of luggage: suitcases, backpacks, baby bed, guitar, baby food, tent, mattresses, and 1000 other things. However, the car interior is so flexible that we managed to sleep inside the car comfortably when we put all the luggage on the front seats (e.g. when we took the ferry from La Paz (Baja California) to Mazatlan (Mexico mainland).

The car has a 3,4 gasoline engine and has sun roof, tinted windows, air-conditionting, ABS, cruise control, power windows, central locking and its rear window in the rear door can be open by pressing a key. No leather seats

The car was inspected thoroughly at a Toyota dealer by the previous owner just before I bought this car and as we wanted to be sure we would have no problems during our trip we changed complete brakes (rotors, pads, shoes), as well as all tyres (in Baja California) and battery. We also bought a electricity converter which allows you to use 300 megawatt devices (110V) - e.g. to charge your laptop.

The car is 2WD so it is great for uneven, dirt roads when high clereance is needed while crusing on the soft sand of the beach is not recommended. If you want to see what kind of roads do we drive, please have a look on this map: Ameryka Środkowa 2013/2014 - Google Fusion Tables

Here is the photo of the car and us after we entered Mexico near San Diego, CA. http://www.drivetheamericas.com/site...s/_DSC0220.JPG I can provide you with more photos on request of course.

Our travel photos are to be found on picasaweb.google.com/michal.mochon and our blog in Polish is Pelikanochomik jedzie

Enjoy your trip planning!
