Good morning...
Is it still possible to buy a NEW Toyota 78 or 100 series in what I used to know as "Africa Spec" I'm based in the UK and would like to import one to prep for a trip next year..
Any information or contacts would be greatly appreciated.

don't think new 100 series are available anywhere since it was replaced by the 200 series. 70 series are available.

Try UK Landcruiser Importer on facebook. Theres also a couple of places in Europe who can import new ones

I'm not quite sure what a Toyota 78 is but you can get a brand new LC70 in pickup form in Dubai.

It looks like you can still buy a 76, 78 and 79 in Malawi, all with the 4.2 diesel.

You might have problems importing a new 70 series to uk as it might not comply with emissions regs. You'll have to do a bit more research on what is permissable on UK side.

I had one and did a long trip through Africa, great bus and I really regret selling!
