We're a young Dutch couple looking for a Toyota Land Cruiser (or Hilux) in Cape Town or the Western Cape, with rooftop tent and preferably also with camp equipment, to travel through Southern Africa for a couple of months.

I am looking for a vehicle for a trip around Southern Africa from January. The Beast sounds fine, but another person I am trying to share a vehicle with found non residents could not buy a vehicle other than for export, did you have a problem with this?
