Wanted: Toyota LC80 for Central Asia Expedition
 

Hi All,

I'm preparing for an overland trip to Central Asia next year. After watching the market for several months I've decided to post a wanted ad to help the search.

I'm in the market for a LC80 Diesel Manual or Auto. In an ideal world it would already be partially prepared for an expedition but its not necessary. I'm open to a cheaper version that I do the work on as well. My primary goal is to get a vehicle that has a solid body and engine capable of making the journey to China and back. An mileage under 175-200k will be considered.

The LC80 that Ecoman had for sale a few weeks back was ideal but I missed out. Ecoman has been trying to help me find something suitable since. http://www.scottishmudclub.com/forum...hp?f=14&t=4133

My ideal budget is in the 4-6k pounds range depending on the amount of preparation work required. I'm happy to hear from anybody that knows of something suitable, even if its a little higher priced than my ideal range.

Not much joy so far on the LC80 front. I'm happy to consider LC 100 series cars as well if anybody has one for sale.
