2016 Calendar contest winners!
 

Thanks for helping us pick the Horizons Unlimited Photo Contest winners for the 2016 HU Calendar! Below are the 13 winning pics in no particular order.

Jason Spafford's pic of Lisa Morris in Purmamarca, Atacama Desert, wins the Grand Prize of a Touratech Compañero riding suit!

Claus Possberg's pic of the northern lights in Iceland wins the 2nd Prize - an Individual Annual Medical & Security Membership (up to 45 days per trip) from Global Rescue, value of $655.

Alberto Lara's pic of Naomi Tweddle in Huaraz, Peru, wins the 3nd Prize of a Suspension Makeover from Progressive Suspension.

The photos will be used in the Horizons Unlimited calendar, and we will share the profits with the photographers. All Winners will also get a free calendar, and 1 year Gold Member status on the HUBB!

As we said when we started the voting, in order to get a good balance of photographers and photos of various categories in the calendar, we are responsible for the final selections, taking into account votes/likes/shares on all the 'social' platforms. It was a very difficult task, but we think the final results will make an awesome calendar! You can pre-order the 2016 Calendar at a special price until May 31. :)

Thanks to all the photographers for participating and to all the folks who liked and shared their favorite pics! The contest for the 2017 Calendar is open now!

Wow is what I have to say, we are grateful for making the cut again for this year amidst some of the coolest photos we have seen.

We'll have to talk to the photographer - that's what HE wrote in his submission! Thanks for pointing it out, obviously he was a little confused as to where we was. Not completely though, Purmamarca IS in the Atacama in Argentina, depending on your definition of Atacama.
