Camera Insurance in Africa
 

Hi

I'm doing a trip down from the UK to South Africa for 7 months, in a Landcruiser. I'm an amateur photographer with £6000 worth of gear which I would like to get covered.

I have done quite a bit of research into this and have been declined for insurance, either because we're going through Africa, or because we are going to be "residing" in our vehicle.

I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong places - does anyone have any sort of info on this? ANY help would be very much appreciated!
