Helmet Cam Review
One thing that I find troublesome with mounting a DV cam to the bike is that 1) The camera only points in one direction 2) Vibrations from the bike is easily trnasferred to the cam and can distort immage and sound.
With a helmet cam one can simply turn ones head in the direction of what one would want to capture. Also, much of the bike's vibration would be absorbed by ones own body. Does anyone have any experience with helmet cams and got any info and advice to share? How do they compare to just using the DV lense? What do you use for a microphone and where do you place it? Which brands are good and which suck? Other info? |
