For anybody thats interested, I know somebody who bought a camera from http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/helmet_cameras.htm and they are happy with it.
I have been considering one myself.. Cheers, Darrin |

Further to my post of 08 September 2001, I finally got around to looking at the problem I was experiencing with the intermittent power connector of my Helmet Camera.
It was tough pin pointing whether there was a fault in the coaxial cable or the power plug itself. I'm glad I took my time, because I almost slit open the cable and strain relief at the connector thinking that a solder joint was the problem. The male pin of the plug is split, so using a jewellers screwdriver, I gently expanded the pin for a better connection. Problem solved! I took a one hour video last weekend with very positive results. Mounting the lipstick camera and housing on the side of the helmet is the way to go for a smooth image. ------------------ Alex Alex's BMW Motorcycle & Global Touring Page http://www.ott.igs.net/~ace |
