Almaty wheel repair DR650 - good mechanic?
 

Hi, I'm riding a Suzuki DR650 and I'm currently in Kyrgyzstan, on my way to Almaty in Kazakhstan. I've damaged my front wheel and have a replacement rim and spokes waiting for me in Almaty. My question is: can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Almaty who can assemble my new front wheel for me?

If you are in Kyrgyzstan I think your best option is to try to repair it in Bishkek: there are some mechanics in the city, and I'm pretty sure some DR650 too.
Just show up at Hotel Salut or at Moto Bar and ask for help: they will probably put you in touch with Ali and you will have the job done.
