since 1,5 year there is a BMW dealer in Lima
Theye where all very helpfull. Because it's new the don't have very specific parts for older BMW's, but we could get spares for the GS 1150 (frontsuspension rings).

I confirm adres of this dealer, but they have poor choice of parts to older bikes. Older like 2003. They charge a 50 usd per 1 hour of work..

I can recomend a Hitchhikers Lima Hostel on Calle Bolognesi 400, Miraflores. Really good place with huge parking, very secure. They have wi-fi, breakfast and nice common aera, clean. Pices are doble room 75 soles, and bed in dorm 30 soles. Its good to make a reservation, specially before weekends, you can do it by email: info@hhikersperu.com
