HELP! We need a repair shop in Rio!

Can someone urgently recommend a repair shop in Rio, please?
My F650 is starting to desintegrate! Won´t start, this time it´s the starter button that broke, need a new button ((Well inner parts in fact !) or some sort of fix so that the bike can starts! HELP!

Maria:
It could be the sidestand switch. The sidestand switch prevents the bike from being started (or ridden) with the bike in gear and the sidestand down.

Mine became dislodged, just slightly, in Huancayo, Peru, took me a few days and a suggestion from SmellyBiker to check it again. Sure enough, got the parts reseated and the starter motor engaged (of course, I needed a battery jump - that altitude/fuel injection problem).

So, check Alistair's sidestand - the pieces on top where it pivots, and make sure your's all are situated accordingly. From what I can remember, there's a little round tab on one piece, has to go into the little hole on the other piece, which has to be seated properly for it to all fit together properly.

Hope that helps.

To answer my own question:

Rio de Janeiro - Catete district

Catete Motos
Rua Pedro Amerigo 103/107
Tel: 2225-6636

Small workshop but very helpful and friendly. Ask for Nelson,he speaks English!

There is a Honda dealer next door as well so that can also be useful.

Chuck thanks I sent you an email! see you in Viedma or Ushuaia,
