BMW mechanic in Malawi or Zambia?

My 1987 R100GS is running like a dog, chewing up the gas and foiling my highly limited diagnostic capabilities.

Does anyone know someone in Malawi or Zambia that knows their way around a bike like this?

In the BMW-workshop in Lusaka there is a guy from Finland. I’m not sure if he is a good mechanic but he knows people and can arrange parts. Sounds carb-related to mee..

Managed to get it fixed in Lilongwe, although the boss of the business had zero interest in being known to the biking community as a place to go. If anyone is desperate, drop me a line. Or sniff around Lilongwe for about 5 minutes!
