Kizhi is an architectural monument of the 18th and 19th centuries, located on the island of the same name. Here is a complex of old Northern Russian buildings. Houses and outbuildings were brought from different areas around the lake, installed and restored. In 1990, Kizhi is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nice pics and great places.. Visited Kizhi last summer. Its a stunning place.
We didn`t take a ship, we asked a boat lift from a house near Kizhi island :)

For last three summers we have visited old Finnish war places at Karelia area. Theres a lot to see only at that area. 2019 we`ll get to Murmansk and check out northern war places.

Wish I have some day enough time to explore Russia further.
