Cumbria to Berlin and back again, all of April to do it.
so.
me and my friend have April off, he has a Triumph Tiger 955 i'm on the Honda CG125 (i only hope he can keep up) at the start of April we head from Workington, Cumbria (no one knows where that is), over to Newcastle (couple nights out and beer) get the ferry to Amsterdam (more nights out with beer) then over to Hamburg (beer) Berlin (beer) then make our way back using the calais- dover ferry London ( you get the gist) then home those are the major map points, but we'll be stopping in places between, or changing the plan altogether as we see fit. anyone en route wants to join us for the trip/ for the nights out are welcome to it, send me a message. anyone wants to give us somewhere to sleep (even a garden for the tents!) would be cool too. otherwise, wish us luck, we will need it. |
well we set off in a few days, making sure everything fits.
there is a honda CG under there somewhere. i know it looks allot for a month, but its mostly camping stuff. yellow bag is roll mat, bivvy bag, and sleeping bag one pannier is tent and space other pannier is clothes tank bag has a water bottle in it. its mostly there for somewhere to hold my phone which is my gps. i also have a mostly empty rucksack for my documents and valuables when i'm off the bike. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...pscfrepvb5.jpg |
