Long Ride on a little bike
 

HU has a lot to answer for.
Following the Qld HU meeting where I won the DVD set.
My wife watched the women on wheels and next morning said " I want a bike"
Inspired by the story of an Enfield being ridden around the world the choice was made. An Enfield Classic Chrome.
The only used one was in Melbourne,
So rather than doing the sensible thing and having it shipped up to Queensland, I flew down to Melbourne and rode it home.
Up the coast , through the snowy country and followed the coast home.
Close to 2000km in 3 1/2 days.
Im 183 cm and 100 kg. So a big man on a little bike. It was one of the great rides of my life.
My wife will be ant next years meeting ,on her own bike.

We plan to start with some small trips building up.
Jan 2015 NE India and Nepal. On Enfields.
The DVD was an inspiration for Lisa, she watched it and woke up next morning saying " I can do this" and is now doing it.
