Hi all,

Looking for information regarding paperwork requirements prior to setting off. Complicated story, South African on a UK registered motorcycle living in Spain:innocent:. I am aware of the usual carnet, passport visa etc. but how does insurance work or is it even needed as I will be travelling on a 2004 XT660X!

Feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Should be a cracking trip. Every country tends to fleece you for insurance at your point of entry. Maybe just spend a quick evening on google to make sure about this because some countries do not sell it at the border, but insist on you having it.
We got stung in Zambia 10km before leaving the country at a police checkpoint, for not having insurance.
