Moto-Mikey Rides the Americas
Hi all!
I left in late July from Alaska and have been riding South since. The plan is to do a loop around South America and then who knows.. maybe South East Asia, maybe NZ/AUZ, or maybe back home. I'm 28 and have no wife/kids, so no time limit or responsibilities to take care of. For the past few years, I served on active duty military and was last stationed in Alaska along with one deployment to Afghanistan. A few months ago my service commitment was up, so I sold nearly everything I had, packed up the bike and took off. In the last few months, I've made the trek to Prudhoe Bay, spent a few days riding the Continental Divide Trail, visited nearly a dozen National Parks, ridden the entire Blue Ridge Parkway and drank with the cartel in Copper Canyon. beer Currently I'm in Belize and will be heading over into Guatemala shortly.. I've got a blog going, which I've been updating nearly every day.
