Turbofurball: 700 km a day in Indonesia will never happen as it is physically impossible! The road standards and the amount of vehicles on the roads makes it impossible to move at speeds above 40-50 km/h on average. I rode 400 kms on one day in Indonesia as my longest day, and it was a +12 hour ride with minimal breaks. 300 kms a day is a good day in Indonesia!

Very true about the road and traffic conditions. ha...ha......

I rate Sumatra, Indonesia as aggressive drivers whereas Vietnam as chaotic traffic especially at Hanoi.
