Just passed 40th day of my adventure with Bonneville. Yesterday was the midway point of the expedition - Big Sur has become a kind of icing on the cake for me. I must admit that I make few tears of joy. I would like to write to you all! Don’t give up, ... fight for your dreams! We are all waiting for the perfect moment which doesn’t exist, because on the horizon there gonna be always such things as money, work, study, family... Take the first step and think how you can realize your dreams with what you have. My "fight" took me three years and here I am over the Pacific Ocean, riding one of the most beautiful motorcycle route in the world... Ehhh it wasn’t easy to leave San Francisco... Bonni also didn’t want to leave garage ... And I don’t blame him, because he had great companion - Triumph Bonneville T100! And he also visited “motorcycle SPA”, because after 6 000 miles (9 600 km) he need a warranty service inspection. And anywhere we move we passed other Bonneville, so he felt like at home. And I? Again, I met wonderful people! San Francisco charmed me with its casual style... although a couple of times I curse this city, when I had to climb under "another" hill... that’s why I’m not surprised why there is no obese people in this town! :lol3

Last week was intense. California spoiled me with stunning roads. After Big Sur I thought that nothing will surprise me... and BANG!! I rode Higway 1 from Janner to Mendocino, Ca. Wild beaches, twisty road, fog over the mountains, low traffic… and just me & Bonneville on the road… ‘We’ had to be careful because precipice waited to swallow tourist that stare to long while riding.
And then came time for Oregon. The state in which… rain… makes Oregon green. And it was cloudy, rainy, wet… chilly… I was riding Pacific Coast Highway till Lincoln City where I said good bye to the Pacific Ocean and I went to Portland. City that I barely know but thanks to my Couchsurfing Hosts (Amy & Carl) I tasted it a little bit and discover that many movies were made there like Twilight, Mr Brooks or The Road… After Portland time came for Seattle and Washington state. With Bonneville we had to face with few storms… I was lucky because I have great Triumph Navigator Jacket which can stand heavy rains and I don’t need to wear rain gear! But Bonneville... that poor guy had to struggle with water by himself… lucky in Seattle we found a shelter in one of the ADVrider members house - Marcin vel. Huzar. "Welcome in Canada!" That’s what I heard from Publican at the Canadian border. Now I realize how many kilometers I already rode,… that slowly I’m coming back “home” with Bonneville... to New York. But before I’ll again see the Statue of Liberty... I’ll ride via lots of interesting routes if only the weather allows me. Last time when I checked the weather it turned out that it's snowing in Montana... and I'm not going to fix ski on Bonneville... But I have to share with you with something else... on every mile I deal with amazing hospitality! And so it is in Vancouver! I was greeted with “Makowiec” (polish cake) and “Barszcz” (a traditional polish soup)... yes, yes!! Katarina, who took me under her roof wanted to greet me in a exceptionally way that I would fell like at home for a moment. I must admit that she succeeded. Bear! Bear on the road! Fortunately, there were no damage in Bonneville chrome and my body. Mother with small teddy bear went high in the mountains. Canada intimidate by its nature and views, and the Rocky Mountains dominate over all. And so we (with #Bonneville) soak up every mile, every turn, to the horizon… p.s. I send big hugs to Mark (vel. It wasn’t easy to leave Canada. I’ve met fantastic people here. I road great routes. I’ve met Grizzly. One week is not enough to get to know this country. But I must ride further to get back to New York. And now I’m back on American ground, this time in Montana. Sometimes I'm riding on the gravel roads and I'm praying not to meet again the Grizzly,… but someone reminded me that I have a better chance to meet the Mountain Lion. Thus, kitten or teddy bear? 07/01/2014 I’m sorry that I didn’t write for few days. I left Montana with Mr. Cold. Sneezing in helmet isn’t the cutest thing in the world… Everything because of the storm that caught me near the Helena, MO. There was no place to hide… and after that came.. this bloody cold wind… I was in the fridge. Fortunately I’ve met on my on my route wonderful people Craig & Lori from Bozeman who take care of me and let me stay one more night to recover a little bit. The road through Gallatin National Forest was beautiful. Yellowstone didn’t impress me so much but the view of Grand Teton did. I was surprised how interesting was Wyoming state… till I passed Riverton and the flat, windy land came.
