Sahara Dreaming
 

Hi Everyone,
I write you a little story of a small trip that I did this year under the name of Sahara Dreaming. To begin with, I am a traveler photographer based in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire. I set my mind to cross the Sahara Desert by land and take photos in order to share with the world the beauty that exist in this region. Another very important point for me was to show the reality on the ground when it comes to safety and all the fears that people may have that are not necessarily true. For this expedition I decided to cross some of the countries that were on the hotlist at the time (February 4th to April 7th 2013) Tunisia, Algeria, Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali and Cote D'Ivoire. Of course to really feel enveloped in the culture and the people I also decided to not stay in any hotel during this voyage, instead I stayed with locals throughout the way, eating what they eat and living what they live.
