Horizons Unlimited - The HUBB - South India on Royal Enfield Bullets

Hi all,
A friend and I are leaving UK in a couple of days, flying to Bangalore and then travelling to Mysore where we will pick up a couple of RE Bullets and ride around southern India for just over 3 weeks.

I hope to upload some photos and write a blog and, time/internet connection permitting, update it as often as possible.

The plan is simple - there is no plan! We have a rough idea of the route we want to take but nothing is set in stone. We just intend to get on the bikes and see where we end up. Very excited! :mchappy:

I've not blogged before so we'll see how that goes. Should be interesting.

Once the blog pages are up and running, some of this will be copied across but until then...here goes.

Firstly, let me 'out' myself to those who know me by my real name that at home and amongst family friends I am know as Ron. Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before. Why? I hear you ask. Well, when I first met my wife (I used to work in a corner shop) she couldn't pronounce my name so she started calling me Ron and it kinda stuck.

It so happens, that my travel partner is also called Ron (yes, that's his real name!)
That should explain why the blog will have references to the two Rons.
