For all those who understand German or just want to get a visual stimulation for a Norway trip (and why I recomment to spend time in central Norway instead of riding all the way to the North Cape): my travel report of the "Lost Vikings 2016 Tour" is online:

Nice ride report - I rode some of those roads last year and am heading back for more next year - do you have GPS routes you could share please ?

My command of German is not so good but I've understand some parts of your post with the help of online translator. It is interesting, to say the least.
