Wales Trip to test the kit

Well we decided to trial the camping kit out in Wales to see what worked and what didn't ready for our trip to Canada and the US in just over 1 months time.

Usually we don't try things out as we all have our own bikes but this time it will be 2 up on my Honda CB500X apart from 1 week where hubby will be on his own before our son joins him.

Therefore we needed to see if it worked. Also make the upgrades from the NC500 trip.

The good news is it went well and the items we took just need a little tweaking / made better. One thing is the seat. As a rider you can move around freely but as a pillion it's not so easier as the rider has to prepare for your move! I had a padded seat cover which worked well for riders on others bikes but not being used for a pillion seat. I slid all over the place ???? so we decided - well I did after reading review - to purchase a lambs wool cover. It should be ok apart from hubby is allergic to wool ???????? If it stops me slipping and sliding and is comfy that's all that matters - right? ????

The one thing we won't be taking is the small frying pan which we just purchased. The little pot and pan set worked a treat.

Getting excited and nervous now as it's so close from first, starting to plan it over a year ago.
