125 cc limit on Iran
 

Howdy,

I'm planning a trip to Iran and I've heard there's a 125 cc limit on motorbikes there. That's going to put a dampener on the old crotch rocket. Is this because of those recent bomb problems? Has anyone been there recently that can confirm or deny this?

Thats for local people...All motobikes free for foreign riders.

Iranians can't have M/C larger than 150 CC, not 125.

For foreign tourists with M/C s no problem how big if you will stay in Iran for a short time (less than a month i.e.)

On a Chinese motorcycle site I belong to, one of the members is named Nima Naderi (this might be his real name), who lives in Iran and is a dirt bike enthusiast there. Here is one of the threads he contributed to, so you might want to join the site and PM him.
