5 weeks enought to travel to Iranian border

Hi all,

Is 5 weeks enough to travel to Iranian border from Dover, as we have worked out that with our delayed departure thats when the 25 day visa starts.

also what is the average time spent in Iran seing the sights on route to Pakistan?

Yes, no problem. You won't be hanging about, but it should allow for a few rest days, sightseeing etc.

As for Iran, if I was to go back in better circumstances I'd like at least two weeks in the country.

Matt :)

Cheers matt,

Most people spend 2 weeks crossing Iran comfortably from all the blogs.

Our visa expires 14th Oct we have a 25 day lenght of stay and will leave around the 11th Aug after visiting family and friends.

we didnt want to rush but the good thing is we will be comming back around to Turkey at the end of the trip so will be able to make up for lost time in europe and Turkey then as its a shame to miss it all.

Iran is a phantastic place, take your time. If you have a tourist visa it can be extended without problem.

What Beddhist says - take more time to look around in Iran, it really is a fantastic place!

We did from Estonia to Iran border around 2 weeks, it's about the same distance as from UK. We were in a bit hurry, so certanly it's doable with your time table and always go slower if you have a chance.
