are CIA maps any good?
 

The Central Inteligence Agency publishes declassified maps of pretty much every country you could name.
I was wondering if anyone had any and if they are any good for finding your way overland- or do they ignore roads and highlight military installations?

The CIA maps that you can find on internet www.lib.utexas.edu/maps give a nice global image but are not usefull for navigating. Not detailed enaugh.
