Argentina to California - When?

Planning a 2023 trip from Argentina north to California. When is the season to do this? I'm thinking Spring in the Southern Hemisphere? September maybe? Will be on motos so prefer dryer/warmer weather where possible.

Appreciate any input from those who have done it.

For the very southern part of south America (Patagonia) I think November/December to February/March would be the best time of the year to ride a motorbike down there. Even then it can be rough conditions. I rode into Ushuaia on Christmas eve (24th Dec) 2016 and the last 2-300 kms I rode in sleet and 2-3 degrees celcius with 4-5 layers of clothing and the grip heaters on max! It was freezing cold!

Then there is other seasons to consider, the Andes area of south Peru/Bolivia and northern Chile and Argentina has a rainy season from December to April if I remember right.

The coastal areas of Peru is opposite I belive.

Then there is a rainy season in central America which I belive is roughly during atuumn elsewhere - with many variables though….

For me, cold is manageable. Endless rain is not.
This chart helped me ride from Canada to Ushuaia and avoid the worst of the rain. I stole it from Jammin Adventures, but don’t see it on his website now.
