Asia, Armenia, Iran, border crossing?
 

Hello,
can you tell me where I can enter the country from Armenia to Iran? Is this possible between Meghri and Nurduz with the bike?
If the departure from Iran to Turkmenistan between Bajgiran after Gaudan or Lotfabad after Artyk possible?

Iran to Turkmenistan at Loftabad / Artyk - Interesting.

I have never heard of any foreigner crossing at Loftabad / Artyk, though I think it is technically open. I drove past the border crossing in 2009 (beautiful area) but did not ask about crossing. Try contacting a Turkmenistan-based travel agency such as Ayan Tours.

As an alternative, there are crossings at Pol / Gudrolum (north of Gonbad-e Kavus) and at Sarakhs / Saraghs in the far east.
