Baku to Turkey
 

Guys any tips on particular roads to thrash through between Baku and turkish border? I want to head north into Georgia. Gravel, mountains, forests?? Any good roads? Will be arriving in Baku from Aktau in a few days.

Oh you poor fellow.
Last November it took us 9 hours to get out of the port. The officials are simply dis-organised and hopeless!
Head to Georgia via the mud volcanos, the track in there is bad but it is only a couple of km.
The new Turkish border crossing near to Armenia is easy, the roads from it were being upgraded in November and should be perfect now like most main roads in Turkey.
