Best Route Maps for Norway
 

Hiya fellas, any reccomendations for the best road maps of Norway?
I use the waterproof best motorcycle map in the uk, and have an OS touring map for scotland which i am getting on well with, but am hoping to do the Norway trip later this year.
I dont have satnav but may be tempted if the prices come down enough, but would still taka a paper map aswell!!

"Best" paper maps depend on how you want to use them.

Closest equivalent in detail to UK Ord Survey in Norway are the Norwegian Govt regional series (5 ?) published by Cappelens Forlag:

If you want a single overview Norway, recommend new Michelin Norway, or Freytag & Berndt Norway

Cappelen's maps are the best ones in my experience. They are easy to read, are more frequently updated and you can get them in handy formats in scales even down to e.g. 1:300,000, which shows even smaller tracks and forest trails.
