Best Time to ride Panamericana
 

Hello fellow-travellers,

in 2004 i want to travel the panamericana by motorbike (KLR650). Do you people have any advice on which time of the year is best to start. Planned start in Vancouver, then travel all the way south. What is a realistic trip duration, if not racing but also not hanging around for weeks on the same spot ?

Start in Vancouver in June, be in Ushuaia in December - 6 months is good.
