Black Sea Ferry to e.g. Novorossiysk/Kavkaz?
 

Hi,

My wife and me want to travel by motorcycle from Belgium to Crimea. Due to some "issues", the sole option is via Kerch strait ferry from Kavkaz.
To avoid a very long detour through Russia, we are wondering about any ferry services between Europe (Romania, Bulgaria) to a Russian Black Sea port.

We found a ferry from Varna to Kavkaz (Варна Фери | железопътен ферибот Варна - Кавказ) and Burgas to Novorossiysk (Ferry Service Burgas). It seems only for lorries and train stock. But the latter says on their website:

"Please be advised that currently passenger traffic with or without private vehicles will not be accepted in Port Novorossiysk until separate passenger area is established in the terminal"

This maybe suggests that a passenger terminal is being worked on. I tried contacting them, but no luck. Has anyone taken this ferry? Know about passenger terminal? Alternative ferries?

The Port is near Odessa. I went 3 times with my Moto from Odessa to Batumi in Georgia. Take a cabin with window. Ist ok. from Georgia you can go to Russia or Armenia.
