Boat Route from Iquitos, Peru to Coca, Ecuador
 

Hey guys,

Has anyone done the boat route from Iquitos, Peru to Coca, Ecuador? I want to bring my motorbike from Pucallpa to Coca. I've heard that it will be fine to bring a motorbike from Pucallpa to Iquitos on the cargo boats but it's hard to find much information about going from Iquitos to Coca.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We went the other way round, from Coca to Iquitos and from there on to Pucallpa. BTW Iquitos is in the middle of the jungle you either fly in or take a boat so why do you plan only that part of your trip? Or you get a bike in Iquitos?
Either way, we took that boat ride, well, that is an experience i can tell, we have a blogpost about it, i try to add the link here, hope it is okay by the admins.
We did not have a bike back then but to answer your question sure it can be done, we saw rickshaws loaded to these boats as well as bikes, so can be done, hope they will not charge an arm and a leg.
