Bolivia Paved roads
 

Hi,

Can someone out there tell me which roads are paved into Bolivia and if there paved right through to la Paz? I'm looking to enter Bolivia from Chile and ride through to Peru.

I have lots of conflicting info so need to qualify before heading off.

Forgot, can you also tell me if the road north from La Paz into Peru to Juliaca is paved as well?

Just road those roads about a week ago. From Arica, Chile to La Paz is paved the whole way. You go up to about 16,000 feet and the border crossing is simple, just make sure you take plenty of gas.

From La Paz to Puno, Peru via the Yunguyo crossing is all well paved with a wide boarded ferry across Lake Titicaca. Watch the Peruvian police at the border.
