Can any body help. What would be the best way from budapest to turkey.how many miles,places to stay. thanks alot john.

Hi John, this was part of a trip that I did 2 years ago on a push bike when I followed the Rhine up and the Danube down. Basically from Budapest I using the Danube as a centre line I managed to find the Black sea then keeping the big lake on the left peddled round to the Turkish border. Accom is no problem and cheap, in Bulgaria stay in the old communist travel hotels tell them you are a working travel journalist, its a cheaper rate. Ride safe, Mike.

And don,t forget Romania. The first taste of a diferent world. See the castle of Vlad Tepes (Dracula) and gipsy-life.
