can you find a good used bike in cape town?
 

Hi!

I want to do a cape town to london trip. the reason that i would like to go this way is to have the possibility of continuing accross asia. The factor that I am most unsure about is the availability of a used bike like a KLR 650 or a suzuki DR650 in south africa for around $3000 USD. Does anyone have a general sense of how realistic this idea might be? thanks!

one for sale in CT. just look in the travel bikes for sale (Lecap) thread. seems like a good one, and 'Lecap' well know down there. he specializes in KLR/DR as I remember - good luck.
