Crossing the continent from Canada to Argentina or the other way around..

...which will be the best way if someone starts this trip at the beginning of October? any recommendations? where would you start from? c?:thumbup1:

I would start from Canada as the weather will be better most of the way through. I think

You don't mention how long your trip will take, but generally you should be in Ushuaia sometime between Christmas and mid to late February at the latest as the weather is generally the best and the winds are 'not as bad' for Ruta 40.
Are you flying the bike to the Americas? where in Canada are you starting from? how much time do you have? give us a bit more info and we can answer your question better.
