Canada to South America
After saying for years that I had no interest in motorcycle riding outside of North America, I find myself planning a trip to South America this year. I have a few data points—places I want to visit, things I want to do—but mostly, the agenda is open, including end date and destination.
I'm leaving from Orangeville, Ontario around August 1 and will spend approx. 3 months in Canada/US (mostly) before heading into Mexico and further south. There's no set time for me to be back, I'm thinking a year, but that could change. Really looking forward to it. But first, I'll get a better concept of what I need to do to plan and prepare - without overdoing it! Am starting here with this forum. |
Sounds like the start of a great journey!

Lot of info here on HUBB ... and elsewhere. I'd start reading current ride reports and taking notes. You'll probably learn a few things and get ideas of regions and specific places that peak your interest. Of course ... once on the road all can change. Hopefully you'll find some places no one ever heard of! :thumbup1:
But with a wide open schedule ... you'll be the envy of many! Enjoy! Ride Safe! .. oh, here is one TIP: Learn a bit of Spanish! bier |
Yes! Thank you Mollydog. i did start Spanish lessons earlier this year.
There's a lot of information to distill down! |
