hey guys,

this board has been pretty helpful reading, but i haven't found answers for this...

i'm still in an early stage of planning the trip and my guess was (roughly):
germany - morocco - ghana (for a longer stay) - egypt (somehow) - israel (again visiting friends) - syria, turkey, iran - india - china (???) - vietnam, laos, thailand, cambodia - china - japan (proj. end for now).

i'm aware of the israel/muslim nations-issue, but getting into israel won't be the problem and if they wont let me go through syria, i might switch my road across russia/kazakhstan.

but which way from ghana to egypt? niger/libya wont work, right? what about nig/alg/tun/lib? or chad/sudan (and darfur?).

chad, central african rep. as well as sudan are a little uneasy right now...

across congo would be a killer (well, not literally of course) but way too long... ;)

any suggestions? else, i'll have to go across bulgaria - greece/ turkey, though i'd like to see central africa...:frown: :rolleyes2:
