Cross from Uganda into Rwanda
 

Hi all,

We're traveling south from UK to Cape Town leaving in Feb 08. I have not been able to find much on traveling from Uganda into Rwanda. Does anyone know if this is possible and where the border is?

I crossed from Rwanda into Uganda near the Parc des Volcans. There was no town at the border. It was a casual crossing, no drama. Lake Buryuni is a great place to hang out before crossing into Rwanda. There are plenty of overlanders in and out of there who can provide up to date info about the road ahead. The roads in these parts- when I was there last year- can be rough, especially after heavy rain. Have fun, H.
