Crossing from Mexico to Guatamala at Frontera Echeverria
 

Hi, has anyone crossed from Mexico to Guatamala at Frontera Echeverria?

On the Mexico side you go from Palenque down the 307 border road to Frontera Echeverria, get a boat across the river to Bethal in Guatamala and then on to Flores.

The Lonley Planet says you can do it but doesn't mention what the road is like of if you can get a motorbike across on the boat.

Anyone tried???
