I did the WAW last September and the Galway area was one of my favourite parts, though going from Kinsale I was starting to get a bit blasé by then... "Oh look, another stunning coastal vista" But the region was starting to get different from the area further south, a but more rugged and less inhabited. And I absolutely fell in love with Galway city :)
