Departure from London
 

Hi,

I am just wondering what most people who have done, or are planning on doing the UK - South African run think the best time to depart is for driving down the east side of Africa.

Currently our plan is to Drive from UK, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, etc..

Heading down the atlantic route from november. Dont have a clue whats the best time. Will tell you 4 months later if it is a good time!
Actually... its mid sept and i am roasting my nuts off in london so not too sure how important or reliable time of year is anymore?
