has anyone drove up or down the east coast of africa recently?

Idea: Mozambique->Tanzania->Quenia->Ethiopia->Sudan->Egipt->Europe

or (...)->Sudan->Libia->Europe

Hi Renato, I'm in Egypt now. I just came up from South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan...Egypt. I tried to visit friends in Angola but the visa was a problem- for everyone I met waiting in Namibia as well! These countries were fantastic overall, though Kenya was a turn-off due to the tourists in some areas, Egypt suffers from some of the same "problems." I never had any serious problems along the way and spent almost 10 months en route- more time than I had "planned.'' I went slow because I was having so much fun!
