Easy place to cross from Turkey to Syria?
 

Hello all,
After passing through Istanbul, from Europe, where is most logical, sensible, easy place to enter Syria with a vehicle. ?
I am looking to stay in Syria for a week, just to drive and see some sights ???
Then would also like to see sand dunes???
then drive back through Istanbul, back to Europe.

Hi Vette.
Go into Syria via the crossing on the route 5 from Reyhanli (ty) to Aleppo on the map i have it looks a bit funny but when you get there it all works out ok.
On the way back if you wont a change you can come back through into Turkey at Kassab up the coast North of Latakia its just a small boarder and the road on the Turkey side is not the best but they where doing roadwoks so it could be ok now.

Hi,

Kilis-Azaz is pretty straightforward. Kilis is due north of Aleppo and Reyhanli is due West. Not much in it I guess.
