Need your help in planning my motorcycle trip from Ecuador to Bolivia.

1. What are the things I should keep in mind if buying a motorcycle from a private local owner in Ecuador? I am thinking about reaching sellers through OLX.COM.EC.
2. Are there any concerns crossing border from Ecuador to Peru through Macara on a motorcycle bought in Ecuador?
3. Are there any concerns crossing border from Peru to Bolivia through Desaguadero on a motorcycle bought in Ecuador?
4. How easy/tough is it to sell a Ecuador registered motorcycle to a local dealer in Bolivia?
