Egypt to Europe - Quickest, Easiest, Cheapest route
 

Hi, we are in Egypt, trying to get to London, We have been on the road in Africa for almost two years and are now out of money and energy. Libya seems to be a hassle, cant find a ferry from Alexandria and jordan, syria, turkey seems a long way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yo waverider. No ferries that I know of, most straighforward way is riding though Syria/Jordan into Turkey. It's actually not that far :) and easy riding. Once in Turkey, there are ferries from the west coast to Italy etc.

Rosenfeld Shipping Ltd., Israel ,so we are at our middle east trip including Israel later this year,spoke with Rosenfeld Shiping and they told me they have ferry twice per week from Haifa(Israel) which cost about EUR 500.Three days later you are in Athens.For more information you would try to conect Yoni(gold HUBB member)with PM to him.

i'm from Egypt Alexandria ,if you wish you can put your bikes on a boat and you fly back home
i'm planning to ride to France ,in 3 weeks time dont know which way ,
Jordan , Syria , Turkey ,is not so long and i did it before ,so i,m thinking of Libya Tunisia then to France ,thats the shortest way
i dont think Libya is still a pain in the a...
